EVER WATCH a typical high school athlete highlight DVD ?
THE MOST DETAIL-ORIENTED college recruiter can find them pretty dull.
AN ATHLETE demonstrating the same skill over and over again. A touchdown run. A great serve. An 85 mile-per-hour fastball.
THIS TYPE OF HIGHLIGHT DVD never answers the question most college coaches have: What kind of a kid is he or she? Will this kid waste a scholarship by flunking out of school? Or by failing to get along with future teammates and coaches?
WHICH IS why we came up with the MyGame Video Profile™, a three-minute video that we shoot, edit and produce that not only includes plenty of highlights, but interviews with the athlete and coach. Recruiters get a full picture of the athlete's personality, intelligence and what others others think of him or her.
WE EMBED that profile in a web page that puts all the facts about the athlete at a coach's fingertips: Academic achievements, test scores, statistics, accomplishments and even contact information for the coach. The package helps the coach solidify his or her recruiting decision.
UNLIKE A DVD, the web page cannot get "lost" and can be sent out to an unlimited number of colleges. All that is needed to view both the profile and the web page is a computer with an internet connection.
